The Pixel® Erbium-YAG laser is a new generation of skin resurfacing lasers with the proven effectiveness of ablative (deeper) skin resurfacing with the comfort and convenience of a non invasive approach.

In fractional laser technology the laser beam is split into a series of dots in a grid pattern, just like the pixels on a TV or digital camera. The laser penetrates the skin deeply in the small spots which produces a wound healing response and new collagen formation whilst leaving normal skin between the dots. This means that the skin remains intact without an open wound and is able to cover very quickly. There is redness and some flattening of the skin for up to 5 days after treatment. Anything from 3 to 6 treatments may be required at monthly intervals to achieve optimum results.

For optimum results this treatment may also be used in conjunction with muscle relaxing injections and dermal fillers to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and also with Accent radiofrequency remodelling treatment for skin tightening and Priori skin peels for pigmentation.
