CO2 laser treatment is considered the gold standard in laser skin resurfacing. No other treatment gives the degree of improvement that CO2 can offer. However traditional CO2 lasers are associated with lengthy downtimes and a high risk of side effects.

The UltraPulse Encore by Lumenis offers a genius solution to this problem by delivering the energy through a series of micro beams. The skin inbetween the beams is unaffected and so the healing process is much faster.

A very popular application of this technology is the "Madonna Lift"! The laser energy is used to tighten the loose skin around the eyes giving dramatic improvements. The results achieved are comparable to eyelid surgery.

For treating sundamaged skin, the Encore is unrivalled. The treatment removes blemishes and pigmentation marks, whilst at the same time increasing the collagen content of the deeper skin layers. The results are obvious.

The treatment is performed under local anaesthetic and typically takes 1 hour to perform.

Recovery takes between 5 to 10 days depending on the parameters used and is completely painless.
